I took in my older vehicle (2005) recently. State Street Auto went above and beyond to not only address my items but make me aware of a few other problems that might become serious in the near future. They gave me a quote and left the decision of those other repairs completely up to me, no pressure, no hustling, just honest guys. My vehicle is back and runs better than ever!
My car suddenly had no brake lights. I called State Street Auto and they told me to swing by as soon as I could. They were booked for the afternoon, but they asked me to leave the car so that they could take a look if they had time. They called just before closing to let me know a fuse was blown, but asked me to leave it overnight so they could double-check in the morning that nothing else was wrong. Brandon and his co-workers were thorough, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond what I expected, and that goes a long way with me. They are the first mechanics I have used since moving to Ann Arbor last summer. I'm relieved to find trustworthy people to be honest and fair with me. They deserve all the business.
They say if you find a good and honest mechanic, keep him forever. State Street Auto are those guys for me!
They do great repair work for high end clients. Youll get factory specified or better parts diagnosed by excellent workers. Rest assured its not a junk yard with a toothless neanderthal guessing with scrap parts.
Would highly recommend this business. One of my tires was running low on air as my son & I were driving back to Maryland. Fortunately we were driving right by State Street when i got the low air warning message. We pulled in and they were immediately able to determine that it was a slow leak and they filled up the tire free of charge. I made it back to Maryland with no problems thanks to them!!
