A great place to study if you aren't easily distracted by noise. I might have given 5 stars if the librarian would file books and media quietly, at first I thought someone was doing a drum solo and then I saw what was going on.
The staff here is great! However, students beware! If you need a quiet place to study or write, this is absolutely NOT the library for you. There is always some type of activity going on here...great for the community but not so great if you need to concentrate. The "private" alcoves do not have doors or ceilings so you still hear all of the noise. It's great for surfing the web or doing causal reading.
Cozy place to visit for the whole family! Internet, newspaper, magazines, warmth of a fireplace, and friendly staff.
Great library. This space has it all-meeting space, places to study and even a Cafe area at the entrance that allows food and conversation. Perfect place to meet for tutoring or meet a study group. Book and DVD collection is pretty limited here, but anything you want can be requested, which is nice.
Horrible place to study. Libraries are supposed to be quiet. Children screaming and yelling. Adults talking loudly to eachother, with no intervention from staff. I have never been to such a loud library in my life.
