Your best bet, is to have a shoe expert call another store for your size, and if they have it, (even if not on clearance at the other store), and you will get the shoes for clearance price!
My wife likes to check out their purses as well.

The various pairs of shoes I've gotten from DSW have been shoes I've worn a lot, but that wear out too quickly. Cheaply made?
Why such a low mark for endless shoes? Their selection is... eh. Most of the time I go in there needing something specific (boots, sandals, men's dress shoes, etc.), but leave empty-handed. They have a large selection of shoes, but for each individual shoe the sizes available can be scant.
Good selection but I have had little to no luck finding shoes in my size, 11 men's.
It feels like if you go in with something in mind (royal blue heels), you will be disappointed. If you go in with something very general in mind (heels of any color), you may luck out.
I do love walking around the clearance section and seeing shoes up to 70% off (last time I was there I even saw a new sticker--80% off--on a small handful of boxes), but again, I almost always walk out empty-handed.
