Wish Google had the chance to rate zero stars. I worked at this location. The management made me resell rooms that have been used already, and just asked me to go to the rooms and make them look as good as possible just to resell them again. They barely change sheets. They don't ever give refund if a mistake happened. Don't recommend anyone to stay at this location. Also, they are weed friendly
Overall, it was a place to sleep. Wasn't cheap, two week nights for $250, but it worked for us. Just wish I wouldn't have paid so much for such a lackluster experience.
I had high hopes for this location compared to its neighbor Days Inn. I was here with my fiance for our wedding while we got married at Cobblestone Farms. We didn't expect much, but we're still hopeful. The staff members seemed friendly, but they couldn't do much about the overall environment.
The room itself was actually quite nice upon entering. It had a recently renovated restroom/vanity area and a comfortable bed. However, it had its pitfalls. There was a used towel over the curtain rod. The shower curtain was too short for the shower and we nearly flooded the bathroom after a five minute shower. The lights at the vanity did not work. The AC only goes down to 66, no lower, and seems to struggle keeping the room at that temperature. We weren't given a "do not disturb" tag so we assumed they wouldn't enter our room. We were ignorant to think so and our room was cleaned and restocked. The only issue I had was that we had personal, and very intimate, belongings on the bed that were moved to the side table. We were admittedly embarrassed, but also concerned that it was protocol to move personal belongings.
Decent hotel for the price. Newly remodeled rooms. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Good pool for the kids. A few minor things seem to have been missed during renovation - our room main door sticks terribly when opening and has to be pulled shut. The common areas show some wear and tear but not horrible. It's a good place if you're just passing through or if your kids have a sporting event nearby. The cookies and candy at front desk are nice, too.
Parking was tough due to sharing a parking lot with Days Inn.
We actually really liked this hotel. Did not see why all of the negative reviews, but I understand everyone has their own experience. The room was clean, not overpriced, VERY comfortable bed, unlike the hotel we stayed at the day before in Frankenmuth MI. Service was helpful. No noise from other people staying. I don't have any complaints except the breakfast was a bit weak.
Customer service not very good. Breakfast ok. Rooms fine... After we moved to the 3rd one because the first two were dirty.
The breakfast was rough and a bit concerning. Their refrigerator was keeping hard boiled eggs, yogurt, butter, and cream cheese at a warm 70 degree. I opened up the yogurt to find it warmer than ambient temperature and completely separated. The waffle batter was too thin to work with the machine and the hot foods (sausages and eggs) weren't kept warm. We opted for a couple plain toasted bagels.
