If you like kayaking, this is the place to go. My favorite option to do is to kayak from Argo to Gallup park. You get to paddle down the Cascades, small man-made rapids, and see lots of beautiful scenery along the Huron River. There's shuttles back to Argo afterwards
Calm part of the Huron river, featuring the Border to Border bike trail, and the cascades rapids which you can float, canoe or kayak. Relaxed urban park. Busy on summer weekends- walk or bike if you can, parking can be an issue!
Lovely place to kayak with family. Be warned that it can take more than 2 hours to finish the trip. Especially if you get stuck due to low water levels.
Also a beautiful set of trails to walk. Take the 2+ mile loop around Argo Pond!
One of the best places for kayaking in southeast Michigan. Mostly calm water with couple of small (3'~4') waterfalls that increase the fun. Most of the time crowded during weekends.
