I have to say I am very disappointed in U of M cancer center. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer 3 weeks ago and they are dragging their feet with treatments. I feel like they are just milking his insurance for all the tests they are doing that aren't even necessary. I'm giving it a 2 because I have to say all the nurses and staff who answer the phones and what not are extremely helpful. Particularly Radiation Oncology are dragging this out the most. Test after test before they can even start radiation, they did radiation to his hip with out all these extra tests, it's just sad. My father is fading away while they are "waiting for test results" They are the ones who said treatment needed to start right away. Very discouraging.
