If I would have just foregone the online order I would had my food WAY faster as well not had simple mistakes
Front lady called out chicken fritte. I paid for everything. Male cashier asked for chicken to get cut. I asked after 10 minutes how that chicken is going. Cashier forgot. Chicken was apparently misplaced. They had to put new chicken back down into the fryer. I've been waiting 25 minutes now with cold pasta and still no chicken. I asked the cashier again because a separate order had chicken frittes placed into their pasta in front of me. Cashier forgot and retorted that they don't have fried chicken. Then his co-worker said they do. Then they found the cold chopped chicken and gave it to me.
Good food. More than enough for one portion. Nice choices.
I ordered online. Waited for 40 minutes and finally asked if they forgot my order. They rushed to get it for me and then made one bowl completely wrong and tried to short me on the pizza roll. The issue is that no manager or employee took ownership. The lack of assertiveness was really surprising. I work in retail sales and was quite surprised at how poorly they handled their process and customers
Came in when it wasn't a rush. Been here a few times before, so I know what to expect. This time, not so good. Receipt timestamp added for owner. Everyone moving real slow. Pasta not mixed in mixing bowls. I received the smashed bottom scrapings of the green onions.
Didn't serve chicken fritte:
Horrible experience!
I've visited here a few times. Excellent food, interesting atmosphere. Loved the food! Definitely recommend!!
The first time I visited Ann Arbor's Piada, on the day of its grand opening, the experience was amazing. The bright, clean place was bustling with people and it smelled delicious. The food was alright, but still interesting, and each menu item sounded distinct from the others. In subsequent visits, however, the experience has continually declined. Now empty more often than not, with slow, inaccurate, service and a menu that seems to change every month, heading to Piada is like going on a blind date: you figure you can't be more disappointed than you were the last time, and yet you consistently rediscover just how wrong you were. If you are averse to spicy tastes, are vegetarian/vegan or don't eat pork, look for at least a variety of ingredients in a constantly changing menu, or enjoy convenient and accurate service, this place is not for you.
