Another note - home euthanasia is a much better option than having to bring a pet to a vet. I have now been through both situations and have to say unequivocally that it is much more humane and peaceful having it done at home where the animal is comfortable. House calls are typically more expensive, but for the comfort and happiness of the pet it is SO worth it.

Sammy is my service dog and I am so happy that he can get the care he needs specific for his breed and mobility. We think Four Paws is the Best! We love how Dr. Monica incorporates just what Sammy needs ~ holistic or conventional ~ so he can get the treatments possible and continue his work which is very much needed. Definitely recommend them!

I recently had to have my beloved cat put down. She was losing a battle with cancer and the whole situation was extremely painful as we have had the cat for well over 16 years. Dr. Turenne made what would be an excruciating situation so much better. She was professional and compassionate and put our minds at ease during the whole procedure. I would highly recommend Four Paws and Dr. Turenne for anyone going through this.

I met Dr. Turenne in 2009, when she came to my home to euthanize my sweet girl Roxy. She wasn’t my vet at the time but was a vet in the facility that I was going to. When she arrived she was respectful, kind and professional. I can’t imagine how hard that is to show up at a home of folks y you don’t know to do something so very hard like that. She made an impact and I knew one day if I had another dog she would be my vet. Fast forward 8 years and 3 vets later, my now 6.5 year old Rott/Shepard mix is so happy and healthy thanks to Dr. Monica! We started working with Four Paws a year ago when diet changes, and other changes weren’t helping Echo. Finally after some long standing skin issues and weight gain and lethargy, I called on Dr. Turenne and her team. A year later and with great vet care, Echo is 30 lbs lighter (due to finding out her thyroid wasn’t functioning properly and is now on a daily med), has more energy than she EVER did, is happy, active and has a vet that really cares about her well-being. Not only that, she appreciates the owners! She thanks me all the time for taking such good care of Echo. It is a pleasure to have Dr. Monica, along with her assistants, come to my home and care for Echo. Dr. Turenne offers a great balance of allopathic, Eastern and natural medicine. She listens to concerns of mine and offers great insight and suggestions. The herbal supplements and Chinese meds that Echo has been on over the past year are wonderful, along with her allopathic meds, like heartworm. She has a great sense for what Echo needs at the time. She is available or someone on her team is within 24 hours (if not sooner) to answer questions/concerns of mine and if a procedure, x-ray or a test needs to happen and she can’t do it (because she’s a mobile vet), she has great recommendations for those services. It is wonderful to not have to drive to the vet. Echo’s stress level for these visits is low. She actually enjoys these visits. I feel comforted knowing that Dr. Turenne, when the time comes, will be there at the end of Echo’s long and healthy life, and that makes my heart happy. I highly recommend Dr. Turenne, for your vet care needs.
