I booked a car through state farm insurance company and when I showed up to pick it up, I was informed that there was no availability for what I had ordered, nor for any other car. While I understand it may not have been the fault of the agency; the manager, Kimanie Gentles, was very rude and unhelpful.

They forgot to pick me up, once I was picked up and checked in they did not have a car for me, they then drove me to another nearby location and at this location they currently have not been able to give me a car for the past 45 minutes because of a misunderstanding with my credit card. (Extra star because the drivers were really great to talk to). I am almost 100% going to miss the appointment I needed to rent the car for....
Everything was fine, and the staff was nice to process the documents. The only disadvantage was that when I returned the car, she was absent from the office for more than 15 minutes. She should have made an apology to us. In addition, I really hope that she can know the tanker capacity for each type of the car.
When i return my car to the same location. They told me i will not get my security deposit back because it is hold for pending charges through state farm. When i did called the insurance company then told me everything is good to in their end. I really dont understand Kimanie Gentles, she was manager trainee. She was not fit for this Job. She was running Hertz (great Company ) reputation by telling lie.
I have rented from the other location on Jackson road about 10 times and have never had a problem or extra charge even after going up to Sault Ste Marie, ON where the parking lots are graveled.
The first and only time I rented a car from this location I a $300 detailing fee was charged to my account. The car was not returned in poor condition and the manager tried to bully me into paying the fine.
Pls go to different Hertz location.
